Carmen!~ Remember Carmen Miranda? Remember the Chiquita Banana girl? She is a wow-zer on the back of this hand-made denim coat that was meticulously machine quilted with circle-mania! Chica Chica Carmen is printed fabric from one of my original paintings. Her signature fruit headdress has been accentuated with hand embroidered beads, sequins, feathers and misc. bling. Many of the coat’s repetitious circles have been blown into boom chica boom chic bubbles with fabric paint.
